For South Africans abroad who still own here

Your house in
Somerset West.
Your phone in London.

The house is standing empty between tenants, or waiting for you, or your mother's and now yours. Right now what you know about it depends entirely on whether a neighbour thinks to mention something. That isn't information. It's hope with a delay on it.

WhatsApp reaches you anywhere in the world at no cost. There is nothing to install and no app to keep logged in.

Knowing, from ten thousand kilometres away

You see it yourself

Every alert carries a photo of what was actually detected. You judge it with your own eyes instead of relying on a description second-hand, three days late, from someone being polite about it.

Someone here gets called

You can't drive over. So the escalation list includes people who can: a brother in Durbanville, the tenant, the neighbour, your security company. If you don't answer, it rings the next name — and keeps going with the call-until-answered option.

On your terms, in your hours

Choose which cameras alert and between which times. Reply ARM, DISARM or HOME on WhatsApp from any timezone. When the house is occupied for a month, disarm it in one message and turn it back on when they leave.

The part most people ask about

Nothing streams overseas. All the AI runs on a small box inside the house. Only a still image of a genuine detection ever leaves the property, and only to the people on your list. There is no cloud video, no live feed, and no footage sitting on someone else's server.

If it goes dark, you're told. Load shedding, a dead router, a cut cable — if the box stops reporting while the property is armed, you get a message saying so. Silence is the failure that catches people out: you assume you'd have heard, and there was nothing left to hear you.

We install and test in person in the Cape Town metro. You don't have to be in the country for it — but someone does have to let us in.

Plainly: Jericho Mini notifies — it doesn't attend. We are not an armed response company, nobody is dispatched, and we don't contact the police on your behalf. What we do is make sure the people on your list find out within seconds, with a photograph, and that the phone keeps ringing until one of them picks up. It runs on the property's cameras, power and internet, so it works on a best-effort basis and tells you when it can't.

Tell us the suburb, roughly how many cameras are already there, and who's in the country — we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth doing.
